PLANNED SERVICES

A conversation.
A plan made together.

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Psychiatric diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Medication management
  • Follow-up psychiatric care
  • Patient education and collaborative treatment planning

Your initial evaluation

The first visit is a comprehensive conversation about symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications, previous treatment, relevant family and social history, and your goals. Danielle also considers relationships, stressors, and the circumstances of daily life.

You’ll discuss treatment options together. When medication is considered, that includes its potential risks, benefits, and alternatives. An evaluation does not guarantee a prescription or a particular outcome.

Follow-up care

Follow-up visits review how you are doing, medication effectiveness and side effects, changes in your symptoms or life, and next steps in your treatment plan.

Extended psychiatric visits may include supportive psychotherapy. Traditional weekly psychotherapy is not the practice’s primary service; ongoing therapy may involve a referral or care with your existing therapist.

DANIELLE’S APPROACH

More Than a Med Check

Medication may be an important part of treatment. Danielle’s approach also considers symptoms, history, sleep, stress, relationships, physical health, hormonal changes, life transitions, and daily functioning.

Follow-up appointments are intentionally scheduled for 30 or 60 minutes to allow discussion and collaborative decisions. The aim is to make room for what has changed, what matters to you, and the questions you want to ask.

Danielle explains her recommendations so you can understand the options and take an active part in treatment decisions. Appointments are intended to feel like conversations, grounded in clinical care and your individual circumstances.

PRACTICE FIT

The right setting for your needs.

Root & Remedy offers telehealth-only care serving Pennsylvania, with no physical office. Care may be a good fit for women who want thoughtful psychiatric evaluation, education about treatment options, and active involvement in decisions.

The practice is not an emergency or crisis service. People who need immediate stabilization or a higher level of care need a different care setting. These needs are considered individually; a diagnosis alone does not define the right setting.

Traditional weekly psychotherapy is not the primary service. Supportive psychotherapy may be part of extended psychiatric visits, and ongoing therapy may involve referral.
