FEES & INSURANCE
Root & Remedy Psychiatry is a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance or third parties.
APPOINTMENT FEES
60–90 minutes
$300
A comprehensive conversation about your concerns, psychiatric and medical history, medications, previous treatment, relevant family and social history, lifestyle, relationships, stressors, and goals. Together, you and Danielle develop an individualized treatment plan.
30 minutes
$150
Review how you are doing, medication effectiveness and side effects, changes in symptoms or daily life, and decisions about your treatment.
60 minutes
$225
Additional time that may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, current stressors and patterns, coping strategies, and treatment goals.
Extended visits may include supportive psychotherapy. Traditional weekly psychotherapy is not the primary service; ongoing therapy may involve referral.
WHY TIME MATTERS
Danielle intends appointments to leave room for more than a list of symptoms. Time can be used to understand changes in your life, discuss treatment options, explain recommendations, and consider your questions.
Follow-up visits are planned for 30 or 60 minutes, allowing time to discuss what has changed, review your treatment, and decide on next steps together.
INSURANCE & SUPERBILLS
Patients pay the practice directly. Root & Remedy does not submit bills to insurance companies or other third parties.
A superbill is an itemized document you can submit to your insurer. Superbills are available upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Reimbursement depends on your individual plan and is not guaranteed. Before arranging care, ask your insurer about out-of-network mental health benefits, any deductible, and its submission requirements.
REDUCED-FEE APPOINTMENTS
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are reserved for patients experiencing financial hardship. Availability is limited and determined individually.

Except in an emergency, appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full session fee.
